Community Networking Event - June 19th 2025

Our networking events have always been popular with local organisations, charities, businesses and other members of the Lewisham North community, and this year's was no exception.

Over 100 people registered for the event, which was held on Thursday June 19th. We gathered at Lewisham College for drinks, canapes and some brilliant singing and dance performances by students. The principal of the college, Jamie Stevenson, is one of our trustees and it was a great opportunity to see what the institution is doing to support the community.

Guests included local councillors, CEOs of charities and businesses, Mayor of Lewisham Brenda Dacres and representatives from our partner organisations.

Although tickets were free and the focus of this event was networking rather than fundraising, we raised £224 on the raffle. All of this money will go towards supporting local people.

It was a great (if slightly warm) evening and Jamie and the college were excellent hosts.

A huge thank you to everyone who came.
